Birth: She was born in 1879 at Iowa.

Sister of Cora (Beals) West and aunt of Cora's daughter, Gertrude (West) Newman.

Description:  

Pre-Colony History: In 1880 she was living in Iowa with her parents, sister Cora, and grandfather. In 1900 she was living with her parents and siblings in Louisiana.

In 1906 she published "The Rebel at Large".

At some point prior to 1918 she married Erasco Hoffpauir; they were living in Abbeville, Louisiana in 1918.
