Anna Belle Wilkerson

Birth: She was born around 1897 at Mississippi.  

Family Information: Mother of Earl, Gladys, Louise, Irene and Frances.  

Description:  

Pre-Colony History: In 1920 she was living in Mississippi with her husband and four oldest children.  

Home in Colony:  

Job in Colony: She worked in the print shop.

In April 1930 the print shop crew included Gleeser -- (editing, proofreading and making up both papers; Raymond, Jake, Mrs. Wilkerson, Fred and Florence Hamel -- all taking turns at linotype work, job presses and anything else that needed doing.  

Other Info:  

Post-Colony History: In 1940 she was living in North Carolina with her daughters Frances and Louise (Leach) and four-year old grand-daughter, Joyce Leach.
