Inez (Caves) Yost

Birth: She was born in 1898 in Texas.  

Family Information: Sister of Lester Caves.

Aunt of Leon and Esta Caves.

Wife of Henry Claude Yost.

Mother of William Yost.  


Pre-Colony History: In 1900, 1910 and 1920 she was living in Texas with her parents and siblings. In 1922 she married H.C. Yost.

In 1930 she was living with her husband and son in Texas and working as his assistant in their grocery store.  

Home in Colony:  

Job in Colony: In 1935, she was taking care of the trade at the Coffee Shop located in the Industrial Building which also contained the Vernon Cash Store, the machine shop, garage and tin shop.  

Other Info: In 1936 Doc Williams took Inez and her brother to Gainesville, Texas where their mother was seriously ill.  

Post-Colony History: In 1940 she was living with her husband and son in Leesville, Louisiana.

Death: She died in 1971 in Texas.
