Family Information: Relative of Grace Marians and Grace Hunt.  

Description:  

Pre-Colony History: In 1930 he was unemployed and living in Trinidad, Colorado with his cousin, Grace Marians, and her niece and nephew.  

Home in Colony:  

Job in Colony: He often worked on the wood and lumber crew. In late April 1928 the crew at the cut-off saw consisted of Condon, F. Jensen, John Dougherty, Dane and McGee while Extrom and Shipman helped the carpenter kiddies to pile the lumber.

Later in 1928 he was part of Black's group who went over to Cravens to help Ole on the big job there, where colonists were salvaging materials from the old sawmill town.

In October 1930 he was on the crew turning logs into lumber as rapidly as the saw mill would cut it. Other colonists on the crew were Comrade Haering, Comrade Stevens, George Jensen, Peterson, Shepherd, John and Jesse Armacost, Wilkerson and Ernest Kimball.  

Other Info: In 1928, he performed at a theater performance as part of a sextette which included Roscoe Busick, Turner, Fischer, McLane and Landrum.

In 1928 he was one of the founding members of the local Conscientious Objectors Union; Theodore Atworth served as the first Secretary-Treasurer with O.E. Enfield serving as the President. The organization was planned to be international, composed of people who refused to go to war as a matter of conscience. Charter members included: Theodore Atworth, Mary H. Atworth, Emily H.
