Job in Colony: Under his leadership, the first kiln of brick was fired in August 1920. In addition to providing bricks for many colony buildings, those valuable bricks were traded for land, blooded stock and other needed commodities.

In 1921, he was devoting his evenings to the making of colony candy to be sold in the store. 

Other Info: Returned to the colony May 18, 1920 and was one of the members of the colony when George Pickett first named General Manager.
