In 1936 she rode with Mrs. Shutt and Joe Winegar in the Buick car, recently near donated to the colony by Dr. Irwin and driven by George Jensen, out to view the chicken ranch which they thought looked fine, even though Mr. and Mrs. Archer were not at home. Post-Colony History: In 1940 she was listed as widowed and living in Leesville, Louisiana with "Blumer" Cobb -- her relationship was housekeeper. Death: Died in July 1972 at Pineville, Louisiana. Buried at Tioga Cemetery in Rapides Parish, LA -- her name on the tombstone is "Rosebud Cobb" though she was not listed as a survivor in Bloomer Cobb's obituary from 1964.
