Job in Colony: In June 1928 Tom and Alex Davidson, Hough, Waters, McClurg, Dougherty, Rosenburg, Mardfin, Weislander and Harold Kemp were working hard to make up for time lost to rainy days

In January 1932 he was part of a group including Banks , Whitmer, Thurman, Goeke and George Williams laying floors in the big concrete building and getting it ready for occupancy.

In January 1932 he and Guy Thomas were "working away like Trojans" at the laundry.
