Pre-Colony History: In January 1929 he came to the colony from Oklahoma.  

Home in Colony: He was living at the Gila location in 1934.   

Job in Colony: In 1929 he was put to work with a farm team including Waters and Jernberg.

In May 1930 he and Rosenberg were hoeing the melon patch. Later that month, while cultivating the melons Will said it was "like pulling on a stump to try to gee haw that old mule." By June he was put in charge of the melons for the year.

In July 1931 he had taken up the garden work at the Hoag place. In 1934 he was putting in gardens at the Gila location. He was placed in charge of the berries, tobacco, rhubarb and asparagus.
