Mary Thomas

Birth:  

Family Information: Wife of George K. Thomas; possibly mother of Lloyd Thomas.

Description:  

Pre-Colony History: She came to the colony on December 28, 1920 and was one of the members of the colony when George Pickett was first named General Manager.  

Home in Colony: In January 1921 the family moved into the Kilmer house. It was reported that since "Mrs. Thomas [wa]s settled down to the daily routine... she w[ould] be much better pleased with Colony life."  

Job in Colony: In 1920, she was working in the store.

This photo is labeled, "Mary Thomas and the cats, 1925." NOTE -- There were two women named Mary Thomas in the colony, both married to men often referred to as "Daddy" Thomas, so I am not certain which one is in this picture. The picture is dated 1925, so if it is of Mary (Keith) Thomas, it would've been near the time of her death. Because I love it, I have placed the picture on both pages and will continue to dig, trying to find more information on them both.
