Home in Colony: In 1930 she was listed as a lodger with Mr. and Mrs. Will Shutt.

In January 1931 Walter Fread and his son, Clarence, delivered "a jag of kindling wood" to the Mesdames Lacefield and Stephens at their home in the colony.  

Job in Colony: In 1930 she was listed as a laundress in the colony on the 1930 US Census.
