Job in Colony: He was a professor at the colony schools; sometimes published lectures in the colony newspapers.

In March 1929, upon his return to the colony, he was expected to look after the real-estate part of the work as it had become quite a big job.  

Other Info: In November 1928 he and his wife, along with their niece, Ruth, returned to Florida to wind up their affairs and return to Llano Colony as soon as circumstances would permit. They returned to the colony in February 1929, driving all the way from New Orleans that day.

In April 1929 he attended a birthday party held for Billie Busick (five years old) and Charlotte Hewitt (turning four) at the home of Mrs. Minnie Hewitt.
