Willhart "Chick" Maki Birth: He was born around 1916 in Michigan. Family Information:
Son of Mary Maki. Description: Pre-Colony History: Home in Colony: Job in Colony: In 1933 he was working in the tin shop and sheet metal department where he and George Campbell were making a sink for the candy shop. He was still there in 1934, along with Dan Wooley. At that time the shop was very well fixed so far as equipment [was] necessary, but lack[ed] supplies. Much outside work was done in the shop which "added to the [colony's] income not a little." Other Info: In October 1933 he and Milton returned to the colony from California where they had been employed in a dairy -- Milton since March and Wilhart for the previous two and a half years.
