Post-Colony History: In 1940 he an Pauline were living in St. Petersburg, Florida where he worked as a musician. He continued to live with his wife in St. Petersburg, Florida in 1948, 1949, 1955 and 1956.  

Death: He died in 1960 at Pinellas, Florida.
