Charley Hayes Birth: He was born in 1876 at Wisconsin. Family Information: Father of Leona (Hayes) Stevens, Helen (Hayes) Swenson and Erma Hayes. Description: In 1918 he was of medium height with a stout build; he had gray eyes and light brown hair. Pre-Colony History: In 1918 he was married and working as a farmer for himself. Home in Colony: In 1932 he was living at the Rice Ranch. Job in Colony: In January 1932 he and Elmer Cayton were looking after the herd at the goat ranch, feeding and milking the goats and delivering the milk to the Kindergarten. Other Info: Post-Colony History: In 1935 he was living near the colony in Vernon Parish when his daughters visited.
