Norma Graves

Birth: Born around 1928 in New Mexico.  

Family Information: Daughter of Leroy and Mildred S. Graves.

Sister of Mildred W. Graves.

Pre-Colony History:  

Home in Colony: In 1930 was living in the colony proper at New Llano, LA. By 1932 the family was living at the Gila, New Mexico location.  

Job in Colony:  

Other Info: In 1932, after the location at Magdalena had failed, Comrade Graves and Bill Beavers, along with their families, had remained near the location. They were among the first to learn about the property at Gila, New Mexico which the colony later made arrangements to purchase.

At Christmas time, 1932, Norma Dee Graves (as she calls herself) decided to be a "good girl." Of course, she'd always been a good girl, but at that time she decided to be even better than that since Bonnie was making her a new dress and there was nothing Norma liked more than a new dress.
