Mildred W. Graves

Birth: Born around 1919 in New Mexico.  

Family Information: Daughter of Leroy and Mildred S. Graves.

Sister of Norma Graves.

Pre-Colony History:  

Home in Colony: In 1930 she was living in the colony proper at New Llano, LA. By 1932 the family was living at the Gila, New Mexico location.  

Job in Colony:  

Other Info: In 1932, after the location at Magdalena had failed, Comrade Graves and Bill Beavers, along with their families, had remained near the location. They were among the first to learn about the property at Gila, New Mexico which the colony later made arrangements to purchase.

At Christmas time 1932, Mildred, being out of school, went down to help the millers do their work. On Christmas Eve she took part in a program at Cliff.
