Pauline Eggleston

Birth:  

Family Information: Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Eggleston.

She also had two brothers at the colony.  

Description:  

Pre-Colony History: Arrived at the colony in March 1929 with her parents and two brothers.  

Home in Colony: Dick Brannon gave the Eggleston family rooms in the hospital when they arrived -- there were no patients and there was no other place that afforded them better accommodation.  

Job in Colony: In March 1929 the lunch was prepared and handed out by Margaret Hamel, Helen Joe Daugherty, and Miss Eggleston.

In April 1929 she, Hope Shoemaker and Laura Synoground prepared and served the evening lunch and the Mesdames Carroll, Maki, Oberlitner and Swenson and Dick Condon provided a fine dinner at the hotel.  

Other Info: In June 1929 the parish superintendent presented diplomas to the graduates of grade school including: Allie Belle Hewitt, Lois Brattland, June Enfield, Ruth Kingsbury, Paul Ashlock, Caleb Ashlock, John Armacost, Jesse Armacost, Roslyn Armacost, Elmer Jensen, Roy Swenson, Royal Thompson, Fred Busick, Robert Roe, Cletus Killian and Pauline Eggleston.
