Alex Davidson

Birth: He was born around 1909 in Pennsylvania.  

Family Information: Son of Anna and Tom Davidson.

Brother of Oliver Davidson.  

Description: In 1940 he was 6'1" tall and weighed 155 pounds, with a ruddy complextion, gray eyes and brown hair.

Job in Colony: In June 1928 he and his father, Hough, Waters, McClurg, Dougherty, Rosenburg, Mardfin, Weislander and Harold Kemp were working hard in the gardens to make up for time lost to rainy days. When Comrade Daugherty was laid up for a couple days, he ran Daugherty's team and disc cultivator in the peanut patch.  

Other Info:  

Post-Colony History: In 1930 he was living with his parents and brother in Pennsylvania while he worked as a hook-up at a foundry.

He married Beulah Gaddis in September 1934 at Cook County, Illinois. In 1940 they were living in Pennsylvania with their daughter and he worked as a laborer for Westinghouse.  

Death: He died in 1959 of Hodgkin's Disease and was buried at Penn Lincoln Memorial Park in Pennsylvania.
