Job in Colony: In January and April 1934 she and Elsie Ogden were preparing the supper (evening) meal at the hotel dining room -- in January it was due to the absence of Mrs. Richter who was nursing a bad foot.

In March 1934 she was helping to look after the elderly women in the colony during the evening shift; Mrs. Will Anna Skinner, helped in the mornings.

A month later, she was among a group of high school girls including Iris Busick, Margaret Brough, Rhea Mae Baldwin, Vivian Crossland, Erma Hayes, Afton Lewis, Irene and Myrtle Maki, Crystal Schutz, Jeannette Woolley and May Gossett who reported to the orchard to help with berry picking.
