Description:  

Pre-Colony History:  

Home in Colony: She was in charge of the shrubbery landscaping at their home, which was near the orchards. She kept a garden, once giving the reporter some lettuce and green onions to take home. 

Job in Colony: In 1931 she and her husband were in charge of the school of Apiculture.

Also that year they volunteered to help with tearing down Cravens, Louisiana, where colonists were salvaging materials from the old sawmill town.
