Cora Beavers

Birth: She was born in 1868 in Illinois.  

Family Information: Wife of J.H. Beavers.

Mother of William and Max Beavers.  

Description:  

Pre-Colony History: In 1900 she was living in Arkansas with her husband and two eldest children. In 1910 she was still living in Arkansas with her husband and now her two youngest children.  

Home in Colony:  

Job in Colony: In 1922 she was part of the laundry crew, along with Mr. Chappell, Mrs. Benthall, Mrs. Harris and Mrs. Marchick. Her husband ran the washing machine while Mrs. Loutrel and Mrs. Newman mended the torn clothes.  

Other Info:  

Post-Colony History: In 1930 and 1935 she and J.H. were living in Florida with their daughter Anna and her husband, Robert C. Chappel. In 1940 she and J.H. are living alone in Gadsden, Florida. 

Death: She died in November 1955 and was buried at Chatahoochee, Florida.
