He worked in the apiary during California days. Other Info: In 1932 Doc Williams remembered more than 15 years prior when he'd helped his good friend, Babb, build a house on the "old, picturesque Sabine road" (the Hoag Ranch) -- they thought they'd found a solution for sound proof walls -- they put sawdust in the walls -- which did NOT work.
