Mary Elizabeth Ashlock Birth: She was born in 1887 at Illinois. Family Information:

In 1920 she was living in Illinois with her husband and children. Home in Colony: In 1930 she was living in the colony with her husband and seven children. Job in Colony: In April 1929 she was working at the store; she and Mrs. Baldwin expected to soon add a lunch counter using the small room north of the store in the brick building. Other Info: Post-Colony History: In 1940 she was divorced and living in Houston, Texas with two of her children and three lodgers. Death: She died in 1964 at Houston, Texas and was buried at Forest Park Cemetery.
